TASER TRAINING – LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SECURITY
This six-hour course follows Law Enforcement standards, consisting of four hours of classroom instruction on the legal, medical, and ethical aspects of TASER deployment. The final 2.5 hours focus on hands-on scenario training, where students will practice device manipulation and fire two live cartridges. While students will witness a live demo, personal exposure is not required for certification.
Axon Taser
This Axon TASER course is modeled after Law Enforcement standards and consists of six hours of comprehensive training. The first four hours focus on the classroom fundamentals of Conductive Energy Weapons, covering the legal, medical, and ethical responsibilities of deployment, alongside liability and safe handling.
The final 2.5 hours transition into hands-on scenario training where students will manipulate live TASERs, fire two live cartridges, and participate in practical drills. While students will witness live deployments on volunteers, personal exposure is encouraged but not required for certification. For armed students or organizations, non-lethal training firearms can be integrated into these scenarios to provide a more realistic, high-level tactical experience.
